National conferences from the Virginia Land Office, 1905-1924.

These records contain copies of reports which were delivered before several national conferences of weights and measures officials. They include draft copies of speeches delivered by John W. Richardson at these meetings as well as some reports which were printed for wider circulation. Copies of reports submitted by Richardson to the governor upon his return from the conferences, newspaper releases on the activities of the conferences, and lists of delegates to the meetings are also included. Years covered are 1905; 1907; 1912-1918; 1920; 1922; 1924.
